Notes:
Daniel Arsham’s Future Relic 05 – Telephone reimagines a mundane communication device as a fossilized artifact of a bygone era. Part of Arsham’s iconic Future Relic series, this 2016 sculptural work captures the artist’s signature exploration of time, decay, and cultural memory, presented with a quiet elegance that resonates across disciplines.
The piece shown here was molded from gypsum, with the white crystalline surface evoking the erosion of time while preserving the rotary phone’s familiar form. Produced in a tightly limited run, the work speaks to those drawn to the interplay of past and future. From North American Ferrari Challenge driver Tommy Cabrerizo's personal collection, this work comes without its original packaging.
