"Back2Back Rings" NBA World Champions Black Tee | Extra Large

Chicago won its second consecutive NBA championship in June 1992, and this tee commemorates the "back-to-back" moment when the Bulls proved the previous year hadn't been a fluke. A heavyweight black cotton body carries a full-front graphic: "CHICAGO BULLS BACK 2 BACK NBA WORLD CHAMPIONS" text set into a red-and-black nameplate on the left side, and two illustrated championship rings — one gold, one silver, both marked with Bulls logos and the years 1991 and 1992 — angled together at the center of the composition. Tyrrell Winston's practice has consistently pulled apart the material objects that document basketball's mythology. The trophies, the rings, and the merchandise that circulates around those artifacts all play into his creative process and pieces like this one from his collection stand as inspiration he's gone back to over and over.
