W Core Zip Hoodie

The construction reads as Winston translating the same sports-uniform reference set his gallery work has consistently drawn from into a garment that operates as both everyday wear and a direct extension of the artist's ongoing practice. Winston has become one of the more collected contemporary artists working around basketball and sports culture, and Win Sport represents the closest thing to owning a wearable piece of that ongoing practice at everyday scale.

This zip hoodie comes from Win Sport, Tyrrell Winston's own apparel and lifestyle brand — the New York-based contemporary artist's project that extends his fine-art practice around sports culture, urban found objects, and American nostalgia into everyday clothing. The piece is built on a heavyweight black cotton body with the brand's signature red serif "W" logo screen-printed on the right chest, a full-length silver zip closure, split kangaroo pockets, a lined hood, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a small W-tag stitched into the lower hem.
