A rare sculptural artifact from Kim Jones’ debut Spring/Summer 2019 menswear collection for Dior, this limited-edition pink bee was created in collaboration with contemporary artist KAWS as part of the collection’s visual identity. The bee—a longstanding emblem of the Dior house—was reimagined by KAWS with his signature “XX” eyes and cartoon-like proportions, transforming it into a playful yet subversive symbol of the brand’s evolving aesthetic.

Crafted in cast vinyl, this figure was produced specifically for Dior’s global window displays and pop-up installations, including the Maxfield Los Angeles boutique, where an 8-foot-tall version of the bee served as the centerpiece of the visual merchandising.
