Dunk Low Argon Sneakers

Released in 2001, the Nike Dunk Low “Argon” is a cult classic among early-2000s collectors. The design features crisp blue leather uppers contrasted by white swooshes and midsoles, achieving a clean yet distinctive balance. Its official colorway—Flash, White, and Argon Blue—gives the model its nickname.

Minimalist and modern, the “Argon” Dunk captures Nike’s shift toward refined color storytelling at the dawn of the new millennium. The shoes were released one year before Nike started making SB Dunks for Skateboarding.

Nike Dunks were originally introduced in 1985 as basketball shoes before evolving into lifestyle icons. By 2002, Nike had adapted the Dunk for skateboarding, cementing its place in street culture. Pharrell Williams himself has a deep history with the model—collaborating with Nike in 2004 to create a limited Artist Series Dunk, released in only 1,050 pairs worldwide.
