Released exclusively in Japan in 2001 from the celebrated “Ugly Dunkling” (aka Ugly Duckling) pack, the Nike Dunk Low Pro B “Nori Ceramic” features a vivid mix of black, green, and orange suede. The distinctive color combination, plush texture, and signature fat laces made the “Ceramic” a standout within early Pro B experiments that directly influenced Nike’s SB (Skateboarding) line the following year.

The nickname “Nori” derives from the Japanese word for seaweed, a reference to the shoe’s green swooshes and laces—a perfect encapsulation of the model’s cultural playfulness. Their official colorway is Black, Nori, and Ceramic.

Nike Dunks were originally introduced in 1985 as basketball shoes before evolving into lifestyle icons. By 2002, Nike had adapted the Dunk for skateboarding, cementing its place in street culture. Pharrell Williams himself has a deep history with the model—collaborating with Nike in 2004 to create a limited Artist Series Dunk, released in only 1,050 pairs worldwide.

This lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Ownership verifying that the shoes are from Pharrell Williams’ private collection.
