One Piece: Stampede opened in Japan on 9 August 2019, the fourteenth film in the series and the one made to mark twenty years of the television anime. In it, Luffy and the Straw Hats are invited to the Pirate Festival, where crews from across the world compete to recover a lost piece of Gol D. Roger’s treasure and find themselves facing Douglas Bullet, a former member of Roger’s crew.

Eiichiro Oda, who created One Piece in 1997 and has written it ever since, supervised the film and has said he would not have approved the story had it not been an anniversary picture. What he approved instead was a reunion: a festival staged largely so that almost every significant character in the franchise could appear at once.

This is the production script from that film, issued by Toei Animation. It was printed in small numbers for the people actually making the picture. The reverse carries a Japanese notice stating that the script is not for sale and that its circulation is prohibited.

Very few scripts survive. Most were carried through production, marked up, and disposed of when the film was finished. This example has survived intact and in exceptional condition. It is the only sealed and graded Stampede script, receiving a 9.6 from CGC.
