This original Japanese first printing of Weekly Shōnen Jump No. 17 was released on March 28, 1995 and arrived seven chapters before Dragon Ball concluded its historic run. Toriyama’s manga had appeared in the magazine since November 1984. On May 23, it would publish its final chapter, closing one of the most consequential serializations in Jump history.

Inside is Chapter 512, “The End of Super Saiyan 3.” Earth has been destroyed and the battle has moved to the Sacred World of the Kai. Goku pushes Super Saiyan 3 to its limit. Vegeta buys time. Mr. Satan wanders into the middle of it all by accident. By the end, the form is gone.

Toriyama’s cover gives the issue its full force: Super Saiyan 3 Goku facing Kid Buu, the villain's purest form. Professionally encapsulated by Beckett and graded 5.5 (Off-White/White), it is a first-printing snapshot of Dragon Ball in its final stretch—and of Jump before the end.
